CALI Success! »

June 23rd, 2008 by aaron.dewald

Just dropping a note to say a big “Thank You” to everyone who attended our presentations at CALI this year.  We presented:

  • The Proactive Helpdesk
  • Fun with Digital Signage (DAN)
  • Managing Website and Application Infrastructure

I thought the presentations went well and we’ve had some awesome feedback from those who attended.  We tried to make them as engaging as possible and share some ideas that might help you further the progress of technology in your law school.

As we said in all of them, if you’d like more information please don’t hesitate to contact us!

Thanks again!

Akadi to Present at Computer Aided Legal Instruction (CALI) Conference »

May 21st, 2008 by aaron.dewald

I just found out that we are going to be presenting DAN at the CALI conference this year in Baltimore, MD.  We’re going to be co-presenting with Pepperdine University.  They’ve gone through and put digital signage up in their school, and have feedback about the process, and how to get good information on the screens.

We’re going to be presenting DAN as an example of software.  Since we grew up out of the College of Law, we are allowed to talk about DAN at this conference.

CALI is held every year in various cities, and it’s a chance for Law Schools to get together, share ideas, brainstorm and help along the legal education process from a computer level.

I’ll also be presenting Joe, our Learning/Content/School Management system (by our I mean the Quinney College), and Wes will be presenting Helpdesk Management ideas.

Welcome Student Union! »

May 20th, 2008 by aaron.dewald

Hey all.

We were just up at the Student Union today (here at the U of U) and we’ve been working with them on installing DAN. They want to put some event schedule information, a shuttle route map, and other advertising on their displays. They’re going to be installing up to 13(!) displays throughout the Union.

Pretty cool stuff. So we welcome you, Student Union.
