About Akadi Technologies
Who is behind DAN?
Akadi Technologies was formed in 2007 out of the S.J. Quinney College of Law on the campus of the University of Utah. Akadi was formed primarily to sell the DAN™ Display and Alert Network software created at the college in 2007.
The product DAN was named as such in tribute to Daniel Gorrell, the Director of IT at the S.J. Quinney College of law who sadly passed away in July of 2007. His memory lives on with the DAN software.
Oh, and it's pronounced Ah-Kah-Dee.
